Formerly known as Nurturing Touch Services, our rebrand to Motherhood Bliss represents our expanded commitment to holistic care. While we began with a focus on prenatal and birth services, we now walk alongside mothers throughout every season of womanhood, ensuring they never have to go it alone.
We know that as mothers, you carry more than just your own needs. You support your children, your families, and often, your aging parents. That’s why we’ve created Find a Caregiver—a trusted database that connects you with reliable, professional caregivers, including nannies, housekeepers, babysitters, drivers, tutors, carers for the elderly, physiotherapists, massage therapists, fitness coaches, and life coaches—just to name a few. These caregivers work hand in hand with you to ensure every member of your family receives the attention, care, and support they deserve.
Catherine Wanjiku Mueke is a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse with over 14 years of experience in maternal and infant health. She has worked extensively as a neonatal nurse and midwife in both public and private sectors, building a strong foundation in supporting mothers and babies through every stage of care.
Beyond her clinical background, Catherine’s leadership experience as the former Deputy First Lady of Nairobi County gave her the opportunity to collaborate with key initiatives such as the Beyond Zero Campaign and the White Ribbon Alliance Kenya, where she continues to serve as a Champion. These roles strengthened her passion for public-private partnerships that improve the lives of mothers and families.
At Motherhood Bliss by Shiko, Catherine leads with vision and compassion as Executive Director. She is dedicated to offering a holistic approach to motherhood—supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, birth, parenting, menopause, and even into geriatric care. Her commitment ensures that every mother who walks through our doors feels empowered, cared for, and supported on her unique journey.

Jacqueline Wairimu Gachihi is a childbirth educator, labour support specialist, and breastfeeding counsellor with a passion for walking alongside mothers and families in their journey of parenthood. She served as a Childbirth Educator and Communications Officer at Toto Care Box Africa Trust, where she championed maternal and newborn health by supporting women through education, advocacy, and practical care solutions.
She is also the Operations Director of Motherhood Bliss by Shiko, which she runs with her sister Shiko Mueke, offering a safe and empowering community for women. Through this platform, Jacqueline provides prenatal education, labour and birth support, and breastfeeding counselling—tailored to the needs of mothers navigating different seasons of motherhood.
With over 15 years of experience in both healthcare and community development, Jacqueline brings empathy, professional expertise, and a deep commitment to ensuring that every mother feels informed, supported, and confident in her motherhood journey.
Janelucy Gachihi, fondly known as JL, brings a wealth of experience and a warm yet professional touch to her role as Placement Coordinator. Before stepping into the caregiving and household staffing sector, she served for many years at Standard Chartered Bank as the Hostel and Club Manager, where she honed her skills in management, people relations, and service excellence.
In her current role, JL works alongside her daughters to oversee the placement of nannies, housekeeping managers, caregivers, drivers, and gardeners for both domestic and international families. She is known for her keen ability to match families with the right individuals, taking time to listen to each employee’s story and empowering them to aim higher. With a motherly approach balanced by a firm insistence on loyalty and trust, JL ensures that both families and employees feel secure and valued.
Her placement process is deeply thoughtful — not only does she guide employees toward the best opportunities, but she also takes time to interview families to understand their unique needs. This makes her spot-on in advising them and in creating matches that thrive long term.
